6 MARYLEBONE STREET PT/09/08875/FULL/TP/24719 Replacement of existing roof terrace access enclosure with new glazed access enclosure.
OBJECTION: Drawing AL(1)01 Proposed Plans, sections and elevations refers to ‘glazed upvc/powder coated aluminium fully glazed enclosure with folding doors'. In our view, upvc glazing is not an acceptable material. Also, the drawings supplied do not make clear the construction material for the roof of the enclosure at roof terrace level. We do not object to the upgrading of the roof access with a new glazed enclosure, only to its detail. TF: 20 December 2009
28 MOLYNEUX STREET PT/09/09037/FULL/TP/5329 Retention of extension in front light well at basement level.
OBJECTION: The extension into the area diminishes the proportions of this important feature of the streetscape and creates an unfortunate juxtaposition or flat or pitched roof and walkway to the front door. We would prefer the infill at basement level to be restricted to the width of the walkway over. With the new internal layout this would appear achievable without detriment to the use of the space. If the extension is approved, we support the planning officer's requirements for upgraded construction details. TF: 20 December 2009
