WCC secures extension of consultation on Oxford Street west until 3rd January

Last week the Marylebone Association wrote to Westminster Council, together with 11 other Westminster Amenity Societies, asking for an extension on the response period for the Oxford Street West Consultation. We are now pleased to be able to announce that that Westminster has listened and an extension has now been granted, the notification is below. The consultation was due to close on the 17th December - the period has now been extended to the 3rd of January. We urge everyone to take advantage of this extra time to make sure that make their voices heard by saying No to Transformation of the Oxford Street District. Marylebone - 20mph Speed Limit Trials have started

Motorists please note that Westminster has begun trials of 20mph speed limits around some 40 schools and 2 residential areas. In Marylebone, the areas involved are between Edgware Road and Gloucester Place and at the north end of Marylebone High Street. Further information and a map of the streets affected can be found at www.westminster.gov.uk/20mph-trials
