Description

By kind agreement with Coutts. A free tour with curator (limited numbers) which covers the history of Coutts & Co beginning with the background to the present Head Office, then looking at how the business would have appeared in 1692. We move on to the Coutts family connection with the Bank and the influence of Thomas Coutts in the 18th and early 19th century. The tour concludes in the Directors' Suite, where portraits of the main characters in the Coutts story can be seen and we view the 18th century Chinese wallpaper in the Board Room.
