SJW Estates Ltd, the owner of Sentinel House, will shortly be submitting a planning application for amendments for the existing permission for Sentinel House. In April 2015 Sentinel House was granted permission for affordable housing in connection with the redevelopment of the former St Johns Wood Barracks, providing 41 units.

Architects Squire & Partners have developed the detailed design for a number of small adjustments to the permitted scheme. These proposed changes will be shown in an exhibition but in summary: they are seeking to reduce the number of parking spaces, enclose the play area on the roof to make it more useable, and to make some alterations to the façade design and how it relates to the existing residential wings of Charter and Varsity Court.

They will be holding a public exhibition early in the New Year in advance of Westminster City Council’s statutory consultation period in order to present the proposed scheme. The exhibition will take place at Sentinel House on Thursday 17th January from 3pm to 7pm.

Members of the project team will be present at the exhibition to answer any questions you may have. They do hope you will be able to visit the exhibition. However, if you are unable to make these dates and would like further information or a separate briefing on the updated proposals, please do not hesitate to email sentinelhouse@fourcommunications.com or telephone 020 3697 4325.
