The Newsletter & Diary → The City is constantly changing, and more quickly than ever - anyone living here is well advised to keep abreast of the changes confronting them, whether it is planning applications, new licensing proposals, cycle lanes, e-bikes, residents parking, consultations on Regents Street, Oxford Street, and almost everything else, the Royal Parks, buses, pedicabs, crime and ASB—the list is endless.
Our newsletter keeps on top of all of this. It not only brings you a comprehensive round-up of the very latest news both in Marylebone and Westminster generally but also explains and analyses the issues - all in one place, and in one easily digestible format - brought to you in an objective and non-partisan way.
The diary includes the Association’s many social events and various announcements from local bodies useful to members.
There are other local newsletters, but this is different, it is not there to sell you anything or ply a particular point of view. It is written by residents for residents.
The Newsletter and Marylebone Diary is sent to members of the Association each month. Examples are listed below:
The Report lays out the reasons behind the establishment of the Association:
The Marylebone Association was a newly formed society. It was formed from a nucleus of the George, Blandford, Baker Society. This society was established in response to the controversial redevelopment proposals for Kendall Place. The area is unquestionably defined by Oxford Street, Marylebone Road, Great Titchfield Street and Edgware Road.
